At Comfort Homes Building and Remodeling, LLC, we custom design every home that we build to fit the precise needs of each homeowner. Whether we are working off an existing plan or starting from scratch, we will have new plans drawn for every home. At the beginning of the process we sit with each homeowner and discuss the needs and wants for the home, and most importantly, the overall budget for the project. With those details in mind, we then will work with the home owner to complete a set of plan specifications that list out everything from flooring and cabinet choices to siding type, heating systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical extras, etc. Each set of plans and specs are then sent out for bid so that we can get a precise estimate that will be reflective of the final sales price. In every case we strive to get an accurate cost estimate prior to the project contract being signed so that the homeowner knows where the final price will be with no hidden surprises at the end.
Below are some general examples of some of the floor plans for projects that have been completed in recent years. The Charleston
The Charleston model is an attractive rambler design that features elegant and spacious living areas with many fine touches. The main floor has roughly 1,960 square feet of living area with two bedrooms, a Great Room w/ a soaring 14' cathedral vault, a screen porch, and two open decks including one off of the owners' suite. This particular version was designed with a wing style garage that offered 3 stalls plus great additional space inside the garage and in the storage area above. The lower level is set up to add two additional bedrooms as well as a great family room area complete with wet bar and space for a pool table.
The Victory
The Victory model is a great two story plan that is highlighted by four garage stalls that provide plenty of storage for all of your vehicles and yard equipment. This plan has just over 3,400 square feet of finished space on the first and second floors. The first floor features formal living and dining areas, a large kitchen with breakfast area, a main floor family room with fireplace and built-ins, a convenient office space, plus a screen porch and deck to enjoy the outdoors. The upper floor has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus an upper floor laundry and a great bonus room area over the garage that adds tons of extra space.
The Birchview
The Birchview Grand model and it's smaller versions the Birchview and Birchview Deluxe have been a popular choice over the years. This multi-level plan is typically built as a four level home with a walkout on the third level when the lot allows. The Grand model shown here has a wonderful wraparound porch that is the signature feature on the exterior. The main floor features wonderful vaulted ceilings and is often highlighted by an optional floor to ceiling two-sided fireplace. The kitchen is spacious with ample cabinetry and a great corner pantry. The upper floor has three bedrooms and two bathrooms including a large luxury bathroom in the owners' suite. The third level has a roomy family room as well as the laundry and an additional bathroom. The 4th level has room for two more bedrooms, if desired.
The Eagle
The Eagle has been one of our more popular rambler plans over the years. This model has been a hit due to the spacious 4-car garage with an extended storage area in the 4th stall that is perfect to fit boats, trailers, or your yard equipment. This home has two main floor bedrooms plus a nice corner 4-season porch. The living area is separated from the dining room by a 2-sided fireplace with stone accents. This model can be modified to add a 3rd main floor bedroom by converting the 4-season porch.
The Regency
The Regency is a nice, budget friendly floor plan. This multi-level home is typically built as a four level when the lot allows. The upper floor has three bedrooms and one bathroom. The main floor has a nice vaulted ceiling that goes over the comfortable kitchen and dining area as well as the living room that sits to the front of the home with a nice, bayed window that lets in ample light. The third level typically features a family room with an additional bathroom, and the fourth level has room for one or two more bedrooms as well as storage and laundry space.
Rambler Concept 2015
This new rambler deign is in the concept stage and is ready for your own customizations. This home can be built with the wing style garage as shown, or it could be built with a more traditional garage on the side of the living space. This new plan features attractive exterior details as well as a roomy two bedroom, two bathroom floor plan with a spacious kitchen/dining/living space and a great screened in porch.
The Deerwood
The Deerwood is another budget friendly plan. This split entry home has several variations but is typically built as a three bedroom, two bathroom home with a nice sized living/kitchen/dining area that has vaulted ceilings. This plan has been modified to have a main floor laundry (in lieu of the third bedroom) and has been built with regular decks and with a screen porch. The lower level is typically finished with two more bedrooms, an additional bathroom, and a family room.
